Mushroom Share

The season-long mushroom share is a monthly 3lbs. pre-boxed mix of popular mushroom varieties for the 5 months (June - October) of our CSA season
Your monthly share will be ready for pick-up at Vollmecke Farm on the first Tuesday of each month from 3-6:30pm - our regular weekly CSA pick-up time.
The mushrooms are grown and freshly harvested by our partners - The Woodlands At Phillips in Kennett Square.
Each 3lb. box will include  a variety of mushrooms, generally - white button, crimini, portobello caps, oyster and/or shitake mushrooms. If a substitute is needed (because of seasonal variability) an "exotic type" may be substituted.  If The Woodlands includes an exotic in the mix, they also provide a recipe card for preparation ideas.
